Dongfang Xu

I am currently a research assistant professor at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST). Prior to that, I was a postdoctoral fellow at HKUST from Jan. 2023 to Oct. 2023. In Dec. 2022, I received my Ph.D. degree (with distinction) in electrical engineering from Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg (FAU), Erlangen, Germany, under the supervision of Prof. Robert Schober. Previously, I received my M.Sc. degree (grade 1.2, with distinction) in communications and multimedia engineering from FAU in Sept. 2017 and my B.Eng. degree in communication engineering from Shandong University, Jinan, China, in Jul. 2014, respectively.
